The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest visited several other educational fairs during October, where the students could meet with our team personally and get answers to all their questions. At every fair, many students were excited and curious, expressing their wish to be a veterinarian student in Hungary.
Our representatives visited:
- Turkey, Istanbul/Ankara/Izmir/Tarsus – school visits and CIS Education Fairs (3rd October – 9th October) – In October UNIVET Budapest participated in the CIS (Council Of International Schools) fairs in Ankara (5 October) and Istanbul (6 October) where students – mainly from international schools – participated in large numbers. Our colleague also had a chance to visit Terakki Foundation School, Hisar School and KOC School in Istanbul, Isikkent High School and American Collegiate Institute in Izmir and Tarsus American College in Tarsus. We were pleased to see that many of the students are thinking about studying medicine (and veterinary) in the future.
- Israel, Tel-Aviv – Hungarian Days – Hungarian Higher Education Exhibition (15th October – 17th October) – As a new addition to school visits and education fairs, this year UNIVET Budapest participated in the Hungarian Days in Tel Aviv to promote studying in Hungary. The event was very well attended and it was complemented with a Hungarian university round-table where 5 Hungarian university representatives discussed the Hungarian higher education and what it is like to study in Hungary.
- Egypt, Cairo – school visits (20th October – 24th October) – In Cairo approximately 140 university representatives visited 9 international high schools in 5 days. It definitely was a great opportunity for all high school students to get to know their dream university a little closer. Students were well prepared and interested, it was lovely seeing how committed they are to their future career.
- Russia, Moscow/St. Petersburg/Yekaterinburg – Begin Edu Fair (5th October – 10th October)
- Kazakhstan, Almaty – International Education Fair IEF (11th October – 12th October)
- Azerbaijan, Baku/Ganja – Begin Edu Fair (19th October – 21st October)
