On April 8th at 6:00 p.m., instead of the Aula of the University, the performers of the XIV. Student Concert were waiting for their audience in front of a YouTube channel.

Due to the epidemic situation, it was not possible to hold the events planned at the university in person, but thanks to the creativity and problem-solving ability of our students, the audience was able to watch the Concert at home, safe and sound. The premiere was opened by Dr Péter Sótonyi, rector of the University of Veterinary Medicine, with his video message, followed by individual and joint productions by our students – in the categories of singing, music and poetry. Not only the way of broadcast was unusual, but the productions were also adapted to the changed circumstances, a pile of textbooks or even pet bowls have become musical instruments.

We are proud of our students, who study at one of the most difficult universities in the country and are also successful in arts.
