On May 13-14, 2022, the 25th edition of one of the most significant agricultural events in the Transdanubian region, the Pápa Expo and Agricultural Picnic, took place, where the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest was also represented. This year’s event focused on career orientation and generational change, aiming to bring agricultural professions, agricultural and food industry innovations closer to the youth and encourage them to choose a career path through success stories.
A roundtable discussion titled “Your Future in Agriculture” was organized, and Dr. Miklós Süth, Chief Advisor to the Rector, participated, talking about our university, admission requirements, practical training, rural service, and employment opportunities after graduation.
At the university booth, veterinary medicine students welcomed visitors throughout the day and enthusiastically answered their questions. We are pleased to announce that our booth became one of the most popular locations, thanks in part to our interactive programs, such as the rectal examination performed on our “cow” Rozi.
