The Nagyváthy János Prize is a state-awarded professional recognition given annually by the Ministry of Agriculture to individuals who have been engaged in outstanding teaching activities in higher education related to the minister’s areas of responsibility for at least 5 years. It is one of the professional awards granted for outstanding achievements in the respective fields and for efforts to improve the effectiveness of these sectors, as well as for exceptional dedication to the development of the sector. The Ministry established this award as a recognition of individuals who have made significant sacrifices to advance the sector.
