University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest

190 newly graduated veterinarians were conferred with the title of doctor at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest (UVMB) on 24th of February. In his ceremonial speech, the rector of the institution, Prof. Dr. Péter Sótonyi, stated that the international reputation of the university is determined by the preparedness of the teachers, the commitment of the students, and the scientific results achieved. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Zsolt Semjén, Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Balázs Hankó, Secretary of State for Higher Education, and Dr. Márton Nobilis, Secretary of State responsible for the food industry and trade policy, who congratulated the newly qualified professionals.
