Attendance at one of our basic clinical handling classes or a completed Fear Free certification is a prerequisite to attend this workshop.
Keeping patient stress low is always the goal, but what do you do if the animal is already fearful due to past experiences?
This workshop will cover the principles and procedures to desensitize animals to their current fears, and even teach them to enjoy those same procedures! From noise aversion to nail trims, ear cleaning, and even blood draws; it’s all possible with time, patience, and skill.
Dogs are NOT permitted in this workshop.
