The historic campus of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest hosted the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ESVCP) Congress from August 28 to 31.
The scientific program of the event covered a wide range of topics, focusing on immune system markers. However, other topics in preclinical toxicology studies included red blood cell pathology, inflammatory biomarkers, and clinical pathology. Various species, from honeybees to cattle, were also highlighted. The harmonization of laboratory tests was not overlooked. Sessions were extended to cover mysterious cases and cytological slides. A workshop was also planned for those interested in the design of exams and exam questions.
Our distinguished invited speakers came from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy. The event also featured a special satellite session by the European Canine Lymphoma Network.
