Richter Gedeon Nyrt. signed a partnership agreement with 11 Hungarian institutions, including the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest

During the ceremony at the Richter Center, institutions joining the Richter Innovation Ecosystem signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening innovation, exploring new ideas, and utilizing them within three research networks: Neuroinflammation, Translational Neuropsychiatry, and Human Reproduction.

Our university is fully committed to enhancing innovation-related efforts and was delighted to accept Richter’s invitation to participate in the work of the Human Reproduction Research Network through our Assisted Reproduction Research Group. The networks bring together workgroups from universities, research institutes, and start-ups, consolidating the top researchers in their fields.

At the ceremonial signing of the partnership agreement, Balázs Hankó, Minister for Culture and Innovation, emphasized that “The Government is committed to supporting pioneering pharmaceutical research and innovation processes that can lead to healthcare developments, patents, and socially beneficial outcomes, including therapeutic procedures.”

Gábor Orbán, CEO of Richter Gedeon Nyrt., expressed his conviction that “…the three newly established research networks provide a framework for innovation where top universities and academic researchers can collaborate with the industrial sector to address medical, societal, and market demands, without compromising their innovative approaches or publication freedom. All this can be achieved in state-of-the-art laboratory environments using the latest equipment and technologies.”
