The first VetEd Europe Conference will take place on 10–12 September 2026 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest. The event aims to bring together veterinary educators and professionals involved in undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary education across Europe to exchange good practices, innovative teaching approaches, and strengthen international collaboration.
As the European extension of the global VetEd community, the conference will focus on interactive formats such as workshops, short communications, and poster presentations, encouraging active knowledge sharing and professional networking among participants.
Several colleagues from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest will be involved in the event.

Prof. Dr. Tibor Bartha and Prof. Dr. Míra Mándoki serve as members of the organising committee.

Dr. Katalin F. Gerencsér, PhD student, and Liza Németh, third-year veterinary student, will contribute with a workshop and poster presentations.
The deadline for abstract submission is 31 March 2026, while registration for participation is open until 31 July 2026.
Faculty members interested in participating are warmly encouraged to submit their abstracts and join the conference.
