Short description of the project:
The overall goal of the project is to create a digital infrastructural environment that supports practical training and related system developments to support digital education, and to develop the digital skills of students and teachers, as well as non-teaching staff.
Planned duties:
Digital infrastructure equipment and laboratory development: In the framework of the development of digital infrastructure that directly supports practical education/training, the acquisition and installation of digital equipment, an educational environment supporting distance education will be created at the University’s 3 sites, in Budapest and Üllő, with digital equipment and laboratory development: a total of 42 modern rooms , by equipping it with digital devices integrated into a complete system, supporting system developments, and purchasing digital devices suitable for distance education. A media lab will be created, or the demonstration equipment park also supports practical education, as well as equipment purchases for laboratory modernization and digital competence development.
Digital skills development: In the framework of the digital skills development of students and employees, we are carrying out an educational-methodological innovation in the case of subjects that develop digital skills. We plan digital pedagogic and skill-building courses (Neptune and Moodle) and ICT courses to support distance (digital) and practical education for university teachers. In the project, we encourage students participating in the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses to learn digital learning strategies within the framework of digital skills development courses.
Support and content system improvements during the development of existing education/training systems, Neptun is expanded with new functions, or with the development of the patient registration system, the data and experiences of clinical patient care are utilized in education, thus becoming more practice-oriented. Furthermore, plagiarism software is purchased. Together, all of these create access to quality education for everyone.
In the framework of the project, a total of 3,000 devices suitable for distance education will be purchased and the digital skills development of 1,640 people will be realized.
The project will be implemented between 01.07.2022 and 31.10.2025.
