Dr. Gerda Domaföldi graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Following her studies, she began her internship at the Department of Animal Hygiene, Herd Health and Mobile Clinic in the same year, and subsequently started her PhD studies. She is currently working as a departmental veterinarian, regularly participating in mobile clinical training and conducting farm visits at poultry farms. Her professional interest and research focus primarily on large-scale poultry production systems.

Her research focuses on the investigation of metabolic processes in intensive poultry flocks and their alterations associated with heat stress.
