Dr. Enikő Fehér graduated as microbiologist at the University of Debrecen in 2005. She received PhD degree in 2012 based on results of virological research performed at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, University of Debrecen. From 2012 to 2024, she worked at the Veterinary Medical Research Institute as a senior researcher. Since 2025, she has been research associate at the Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, conducting her research at the Sequencing Laboratory.
Her main research areas include investigation of the diversity and host range of small DNA viruses and coronaviruses, as well as the application and development of nucleic acid testing methods.
