Doctor course student at Lajos Kossuth University (LKU, University of Debrecen since 2000) at Faculty of Science in Debrecen. Major subjects are: Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry. Teaching General Chemistry Lab Exercises till December, 1995. Topic for doctoral thesis: Synthesis of Bis-(aminomethyl)-phosphinic Acids and Study of their Ln(III)-complexes. Supervisor is prof. Ernő Brücher. Received title PhD in Chemistry with grade summa cum laude in February, 1999.

September, 1987 – June, 1992

Undergraduate studies at LKU in chemistry. Special subjects are: Coordination Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, Bio-inorganic Chemistry, Synthesis of Pharmaceuticals, Synthetic Inorganic Laboratory Practice and Quantum Chemistry. Topic for diploma work: Model Synthesis of a New Tetrahydroxy-indolizidine Acetic Acid through a Cyclic Nitrone. Supervisor is prof. Pál Herczegh. Received title M.Sc. in Chemistry with grade B in June, 1992.

Researcher/teacher at Department of Chemistry at University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest. Research work: Synthesis of N-heterocyclic Compounds. Teaching duties: leading laboratory exercises, seminars and lectures of chemistry in English/Hungarian. Assistant professor: May, 2004 – April, 2009, and associate professor: May, 2009 – present.

June – September, 2002

Research Scholar at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA, USA. Research work: Synthesis of Pt(II) Anticancer Complexes. Supervisor is prof. Nicholas Farrell.

November, 2000 – March, 2002

Research Associate at Research Laboratory for Nuclear Reactors of Tokyo Institute of Technology (TIT) in Tokyo, supported by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Research work: Cleavage of Heteroaromatic Compounds in Supercritical Solvents. Supervisor is prof. Hiroshi Tomiyasu.

Visiting Researcher, STA fellow of Japan International Science and Technology Exchange Center (JISTEC) at Institute of Research and Innovation (IRI) in Kashiwa and TIT. Research work: Synthesis and Study of Uranyl Complexes and NMR Measurements under Supercritical Conditions. Supervisors are prof. Yasuhisa Ikeda and prof. Hiroshi Tomiyasu.
