Univet’s Alumni Office switches to higher gear

As part of the latest Alumni Reunion, the Alumni Office of the University of Veterinary Medicine hosted the graduates of the 1994 academic year in the newly-renovated Student Centre, where the participants could relive their old university memories and discuss the progress of their professional and personal careers over the past 25 years. University’s “International Open Day” welcomed visitors from 9 countries

Future veterinary students got an insight into the life of the Budapest and Üllő campuses. Coming from Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Greece, Korea, Australia and Brazil, the guests visited the pet and large animal clinics, the equine clinic and learned about the University’s history and the training programme.

We Visited Several International Educational Fairs in October

The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest visited several other educational fairs during October, where the students could meet with our team personally and get answers to all their questions. Candlelight memorial for Zoltán Tatay

The colleagues and students of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest moved with candles and wreaths to the plaque of Zoltán Tatay on 21st October, to remember the veterinarian student who died as a hero during the 1956 revolution.

Researcher’s Night at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest

The so-called event Researcher’s Night is one of the most important events to promote science in Hungary, where research institutes, universities and laboratory visits open their doors for a night and welcome everyone interested. Just like last year, the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest joined to this program.
