II. Presentation Workshop and Symposium
The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest is organizing a workshop for the introduction of presentation skills. The best students will receive a prize in the frame of the competition, which will be held on 7 May 2019.
SAM-buddy peer-mentoring program of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest
Recognizing the challenges of living abroad, we designed a unique peer-mentoring system for first-year students (freshers) titled SAM-buddy peer-mentoring. It aims to assist new students on the 1:1 basis for the period of 8 weeks in the fall semester. The SAM-buddy peer-mentoring program’s closing team building event was held in late March for mentors and mentees.

Successful presentations at the Conference of the Students’ Research Society
As a vet and biology student, it is important to present and discuss research problems and results within the research society. The instructors’ aim is not only the immediate transfer of the core material, but they always draw attention to the department’s scientific work as well. Departments provide interested students with the opportunity to learn
