My research areas include the testing of potential beneficial substances in in vitro systems on various cell types. With my colleagues we examine the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and call barrier protecting effects.  

Furthermore, I also participate in assessing the success of diagnostic and therapeutic protocols.
