What’s Happening Now?

Student Support & Counseling Services offer multiple mini-workshops/lectures on various topics mostly for first-year students to assist in adjustment & fitting in. The following lectures and workshops are scheduled for the  2022 fall/winter term:

Mini-lecture series for first-year students:

  • Adjustment to medical school – September 8, 2022, from 8:00 am till 9:00 am – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building J.
  • Learning techniques tips – September 8, 2022, from 9:00 am till 10:00 am – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building J.
  • Exams and academic stress – September 8, 2022, from 10:00 am till 11:00 am – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building J.
  • Bullying and mobbing concerns – September 8, 2022, from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building J.
  • Ethical norms and behaviors – September 8, 2022, from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building J.

Workshop for new inactive (status) students for the fall term:

In the fall semester (2022/23) the next (free of charge) inactive workshop (consisting of 2 parts) is scheduled for

  • September 7. 13:00-15:30 (first segment) – topic: adaptive coping to overcome “fail” mindset in Kemény Armand lecture hall.
  • September 14. 13:00-15:30 (second segment) – topic: coping with procrastination & preparing for re-entry in Kemény Armand lecture hall.
