What’s Happening Now?

Student Support & Counseling Services offer multiple mini-workshops/lectures on various topics mostly for first-year students to assist adjustment & fitting in. The following lectures and workshops are scheduled for 2020 fall/winter term:

Teambuilding workshop for students from East-Asia – September 4, 2020, between 10 am & 11 am- in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C. (if you are from the region feel free to attend this event)

Mini-lecture series for first-year students:

  • Adjustment to medical school – September 4, 2020, from 1:15 pm till 2:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.
  • Learning techniques tips – September 4, 2020, from 2:15 pm till 3:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.
  • Exams and academic stress – September 4, 2020, from 3:15 pm till 4:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.
  • Bullying and mobbing concerns – September 4, 2020, from 4:15 pm till 5:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.
  • Ethical norms and behaviors – September 9, 2019, from 3:15 pm till 4:00 pm – in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.

Workshop for new inactive (status) students for the fall term:

In the fall semester (2020/21) the next (free of charge) inactive workshop (consisting of 2 parts) is scheduled for

  • September 9. 13:00-15:30 (first segment) – topic: adaptive coping to overcome “fail” mindset in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.
  • September 16. 13:00-15:30 (second segment) – topic: coping with procrastination & preparing for re-entry in Kemény Armand Lecture Hall in building C.
