The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest expresses its deepest sympathies for anyone studying at our university that are affected by the brutalist and extreme aggression taking place in the Middle East. We strictly believe that violence cannot be a solution to any kind of conflict.
For our students that are affected by the war in the Middle East the university tries to provide academic aide preventing them falling behind their course of studies. Each student’s experience is unique hence all these cases will be treated individually.
We must stress that our institution has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of insult, harassment, bullying or any other behavior that is deemed inappropriate or offensive towards other students, whether on campus or off-campus, whether online or off-line, public, or private. This policy applies to ALL students, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, religion, or belief system.
The leadership of the university emphasizes that anyone engaging in such behavior will face immediate and serious consequences. Any student who violates these rules will be treated immediately.
Also, we would like to ask our students if they are either subject to any kind of harassment or witnesses dubious behavior, please report immediately through our various channels set up for raising complaints.
