Submitting the following documents is not a prerequisite when applying, but it is recommended to find a host institution by that time and have the Letter of Acceptance and Mobility Agreement documents completed and signed by the host institution. This allows us to conclude the grant agreement and transfer the awarded funding as soon as possible after the announcement of the results.
Tasks Before Mobility
Step 1 – Letter of Acceptance
Have the Letter of Acceptance (Host Declaration) completed and signed by the host institution.
Step 2 – Mobility Agreement
The Mobility Agreement (Traineeship / Research / Participation Agreement) must first be completed and signed by the student, and then by the host institution.
University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest will sign the document when the grant agreement is concluded. Important: The start and end dates must be identical on both the Letter of Acceptance and the Mobility Agreement.
Step 3
If the application is successful, the student sends the completed and signed documents from Steps 1 and 2 to: [Click to see email]
Step 4 – Grant Agreement
If the International Relations Office finds the submitted documents in order, the grant agreement will be sent to the student.

Step 5
The student signs the mobility agreement in the International Office and collects the prepared mobility package.

Tasks During Mobility
Step 6 – Certificate of Stay
During the last week of the mobility, the Certificate of Stay (Confirmation of Duration and Activities) must be completed and signed by the host institution.
For clinical practice after the 8th semester and during the 11th semester, the Certificate of Clinical Practice must be completed and signed instead.
Important: The start and end dates on the Certificate of Stay / Certificate of Clinical Practice must be the same as on the previous documents.
Step 7 – Mobility Report
A mobility report must be prepared about the traineeship / research / conference participation.
Length: 1–2 A4 pages, illustrated with 2–4 photos, written in Hungarian and English.
The report must include:
- the name of the scholarship holder, the exact dates, and the location of the mobility
- experiences regarding transportation, accommodation, and daily life in the host country/city
- experiences related to the daily work of the host institution and professional development opportunities

Step 8
Within 30 days after returning home, the scholarship holder sends the final documents by email to [Click to see email]:
