After graduation “Summa cum laude” from the University of Veterinary Science, Budapest in 1979 I began working at the Phylaxia Biological Co. In 1981 I was invited to the Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, I have been working here as a professor. In the same year I was commissioned to chair the Department. Between 1997 and 1999 as Vice Rector and from 2000 to 2004 as Vice Dean I was responsible for the international cooperation of the school. In the period of 2004-2012 I directed the Faculty as Dean.

Teaching: Microbiology (Bacteriology) lectures, lectures and plenary practicals on infectious diseasesResearch: Investigation of the characteristics of some pathologically important bacteria, examination of the diseases caused by them, development of their diagnosis, therapy, prevention and control.Service, advising: Diagnosis of infectious diseases in farms, preparing strategic plans on therapy, prevention and control. Advising, writing expert”s opinion in the field of microbiology and infectious diseases.
