She graduated from the University of Veterinary Science Budapest in 1981 (DVM). Her diploma thesis deals with the hereditary factors of susceptibility for bovine mastitis.
First she worked at Komárom Mezőgazdasági Kombinát (a big agricultural company) as a field vet. In 1983 she won a scholarship at the alma mater, Dep. of Animal Breeding. She spent 6 years there working on scientific field. Later on she became a consultant vet at TAURINA Animal Breeding Company.
Now she is working as an independent private vet focusing on bovine mastitis. In 1992 she founded her own mastitis laboratorium which constantly growing and developing.
In 2007 she got a 2nd diploma at ELTE University as a microbiologist.
She has done a lot of community work in the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber as member of quality improvement committee (bovine section). From 2006 she is the president of the National Ethic Committee of the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber.
She has published articles in Hungarian breeding journals (Practice of Cattle Breeding). She also participated in the team of authors of a book dedicating for technology of keeping milking cows in small household enterpises (private farmers).This book was published in 2004 and reprint in 2012.
Recently Gabriella also works as synchronous translater (from English into Hungarian) in veterinary conferences as well.
