SAM-buddy peer-mentoring first fall term team-building event took place on Friday evening, September 20 at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest (UNIVET Budapest).
Close to a hundred UNIVET students arrived at the first peer-mentoring team building party where freshers got a chance to meet fellow freshers and their upper-year peers (mentors) in a playful setting, completing various fun team-building tasks in pairs, in a small and large group format.
UNIVET Budapest hosted the event with the help of three well-seasoned facilitators providing three hours of continuous entertainment in the Aula Friday evening, while tasty Mexican wraps and soft drinks insured no one was going home hungry.
SAM-buddy peer-mentoring assistance is an eight-week-long program available for freshers as mentees both in the fall and spring term coached by face to face meetings with upper-year students on 1:1 or 2:1 bases with the goal of learning how to become academically more successful and socially well adjusted.
