Dr. Orsolya Juhász was born in Debrecen and studied there before applying to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Szent István University. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in February 2020 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she spent three months in Australia at an oncology clinic. She is currently working as a veterinarian at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the university, and plans to start her PhD studies in September 2021. Her research topic is based on the search for natural antibiotic alternatives, primarily against Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains. She also works at a small animal clinic, where she mainly treats internal medicine and oncology patients. She is a member of the International Society for Electroporation-Based Technologies and Treatments, and she is the only one in Hungary to perform electrochemotherapy treatments for animals. In her spare time, he enjoys reading, swimming and hiking. She loves to travel; her goal is to get to know the fauna of as many countries as possible.
