Veterinary Clinic Stad en Westerkwartier provides tailored animal healthcare for animals in the western part of the province of Groningen. We are an enthusiastic team of 6 companion animal veterinarians, 4 farm animal veterinarians, and 18 veterinary nurses/assistants. We believe good teamwork is essential. To be able to do this work with passion, the people who make up the team are the most important link. They continuously translate new knowledge and techniques into appropriate care for every animal. Our mission is therefore:

We offer:
- A position as a companion animal veterinarian with a 32-hour-per-week contract; other working hours are negotiable
- Salary and secondary employment benefits according to the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) for Veterinary Practices; we are members of the BPW
- A spacious, characterful practice with a modern look, equipped with extensive blood analysis equipment and a very advanced ultrasound machine capable of performing cardiac ultrasounds. In addition, we have X-ray and dental X-ray facilities, and gas anaesthesia is available
- A job in an independent practice, not affiliated with a chain
- Personalised guidance and mentoring
You:
- Hold a degree in veterinary medicine
- Have at least 1–2 years of experience
- Have a tactful, client-oriented, and collegial attitude
- Have an eye for animals as well as for people
- Hold a category B driving licence
