This year, we organized the Job Fair at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest for the 7th time, offering excellent opportunities for recent graduates and our veterinary students. We take pride in the internationally outstanding quality of education at our University and that our students find success anywhere in the world upon completing their studies.
The annual job fair aims to introduce participants to the key players in the profession, both domestically and internationally, to assist in launching their careers. Therefore, we are pleased that 24 Hungarian and 7 international exhibitors attended this year. In addition to covering the Hungarian and global markets, our University’s Doctoral School and Doctoral Student Government welcome students, allowing them to explore the unique scientific and innovative environment provided by the institution, alongside the paths of teaching and research.
The diversity of our exhibitors once again faithfully reflected the myriad faces of the veterinary profession, ranging from small animal practice to regulatory veterinary work and various aspects of food safety. Dr. Balázs Aladics (DVM, MBA), President of the Marek József Foundation Supervisory Board and Managing Director of Elanco Hungary Kft., shared insights into the versatility of the profession, responding to questions from Narkis Levy, a student curious about post-graduation opportunities.
The success of our event is evident in the fact that over the past years, numerous Hungarian and international businesses have offered internships and job opportunities to participants of the Job Fair.
